Federal Capital Breaths Clean Air Amid Declined Pollutant Ratios

After rumbling dust and thunderstorms accompanied by heavy gusts of winds and rainfall the federal capital Thursday was breathing clean ambience
All the harmful pollutants in daily ambient air quality report have been recorded below permissible ratio amid particulate matter (PM 2.5) and other hazardous environment pollutants' ratio.
According to the daily Ambient Air Quality Report of the federal capital recorded by the Pakistan Environment Protection Agency (PAK-EPA), "Air quality is considered satisfactory, and air pollution poses no risk.
Concentration of all three parameters namely NO2, SO2 and Particulate Matter of size less than 2.
5 microns (PM2.5) are below the permissible limits of National Environmental Quality Standards (NEQS)." The report said the 24 hours average ratio of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and Sulphur dioxide (SO2) were 14.56 g/m and 16.9 g/m respectively against the respective National Environmental Quality Standards (NEQS) of 80 g/m and 120 g/m.
The particulate matter of 2.5 microns (PM2.5) ratio was witnessed to 6.07 g/m against the NEQS of 35 gm/m.
The data was recorded by calibrated air quality monitors fixed at particular positions with proper readings taken 24 hours a day by PAK-EPA.
