FESCO uses drone technology to unearth power pilferage

FAISALABAD, June 2 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Jun, 2019 ) ::Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) started the use of drone technology to unearth power pilferage in its region.

FESCO spokesman said on Sunday that in the first experiment, the FESCO team used drone camera in Millat Town and unearthed electricity pilferage in a triple-storey building.

The family was stealing electricity direct from FESCO lines passing near the building.

The FESCO reported the matter to police for the registration of a case against the accsued.
