The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Monday submitted a report before the Supreme Court regarding Top City Housing Scheme and recommended that a case should be referred to National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for criminal investigation against the society officials
The report submitted by Basharat Mehmood Shahzad Additional Director General FIA Enquiry Officer recommended that NAB should hold criminal investigations against the officials of the firm including Moeez Ahmed Khan and his other associates.
The FIA in its report stated that General Powers of Attorneys and gift deeds were neither executed in normal circumstances nor the transfer of ownership on the basis of photocopies of these documents was carried out by the Registrar Firms office, Islamabad in a transparent manner.
Hence, appropriate directions should be issued regarding the restoration of the interest of the complainant in M/S Dynast Associate, keeping in view litigations pending between both the parties.
It is to mention here that the Human Rights Cell of Supreme Court referred the complaint of Mrs Zahida Javed islam on November 15, 2018 with the directions of the then Chief Justice of Pakistan for the Dirtector General of FIA to submit report over the matter.
