FIA seizes huge quantity of spurious medicines, arrests 2

The FIA Cyber Crime Circle Lahore Thursday seized a huge quantity of spurious drugs, loaded to two trucks, and arrested two accused

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Apr, 2019 ) :The FIA Cyber Crime Circle Lahore Thursday seized a huge quantity of spurious drugs, loaded to two trucks, and arrested two accused.

According to a spokesman, an FIA team conducted a raid in a godown at Chungi Amar Sidhu and found spurious medicines stored there.

These medicines are major reason of kidney failure in our young generation, he said. The team arrested two persons, identified as Shabbir Ahmad of Kahna Nau, Lahore and Ubaid Ullah of Jarranwala Faisalabad, the owners of the godown. The team also recovered a huge quantity of spurious drugs from them.

The FIA has been registered a case against them. Further investigation is under way.
