Fire erupts in Lwaghar forest region in Karak

Fire erupted in forest of Lwaghar region of Karak district that reportedly burned trees, animals and birds on five kilometers of area.

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th May, 2018 ) :Fire erupted in forest of Lwaghar region of Karak district that reportedly burned trees, animals and birds on five kilometers of area. Officials at the district administration said that fire erupted some 24 hours ago that continued raging till filing of this report, private news channel reported.

They said that rescue workers and fire extinguishers could not reached the site due to inaccessibility, adding that if the fire was not controlled the fire may burn complete forest.
