Fistula Production Centre At LGH Established

LAHORE, Jan 6 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 06th Jan, 2017 ) : The first ever Arteriovenous Fistula Treatment Centre has been established in Lahore General Hospital (LGS) to provide free kidney treatment to poor patients, Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute/Lahore General Hospital (PGMI/LGH) Prof Dr Prof Ghayas un Nabi Tayyab has appointed Professor of Urology, Dr Muhammad Nazir to supervise the functioning of Arteriovenous Fistula Centre.

LGS Medical Superintendent (MS) Dr Ghulam Sabir said that the competent and certified doctors would monitor the functioning of centre and would produce quality Fistula at the centre. He said the fistula would be provided to the dialysis patients free of cost. He further informed that free treatment to the dialysis patients would be provided from Monday to Saturday.
