At least five people of the same family including a woman and three children received burn wounds when a fire broke out in a house due to gas leakage explosion here in Nothia area Thursday morning

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jan, 2019 ) :At least five people of the same family including a woman and three children received burn wounds when a fire broke out in a house due to gas leakage explosion here in Nothia area Thursday morning.

Police said during the night, the family had forgotten to switch off the stove properly due to which the house was filled with gas.As a result, the house caught fire when the women lit a matchstick to turn on the stove.

The victims were identified as 26-year-old Irshad, his wife, their children, Ahtesham, Arooba and a three-month-old Hoorain.

The rescue 1122 and fire brigade reached the spot and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital.
