Five Standing Committees' Reports Presented In Senate

As many as five reports have been presented in the Upper House of the parliament by chairmen of respective standing committees on Wednesday.
Senator Sherry Rehman on behalf of Senator Mushahid Ullah Khan, Chairman, Standing Committee on Aviation presented report of the Standing Committee on a point of public importance raised by Senator Nighat Mirza on 18 th September, 2018, regarding change of software in PIA leading to problems in bookings.
Senator Mohsin Aziz, Chairman, Standing Committee on Petroleum presented report of the Standing Committee on a point of public importance raised by Senator Bahramand Khan Tangi on 30th August, 2018, regarding low gas pressure in district Charsada.
Senator Mohsin Aziz, presented report of the Standing Committee on a point of public importance raised by Senator Mian Muhammad Ateeq Shaikh on 30th August, 2018, regarding sending of four gas bills in one month to the consumers in Rawalpindi.
Senator Mohsin Aziz presented report of the Standing Committee on a point of public importance raised by Senator Sardar Muhammad Shafiq Tareen on 30th August, 2018, regarding accidental compensation to coal mine workers in Balochistan.
Senator Mohsin Aziz, Chairman, Standing Committee on Petroleum, to present report of the Standing Committee on a point of public importance raised by Senator Sardar Muhammad Azam Khan Musakhel on 18th September, 2018, regarding implementation of 6 % employment quota of Balochistan in Gas Companies.
The house carried the motion moved by Senator Mushtaq Ahmed, Member, Standing Committee on Defence, that the time for presentation of report of the Standing Committee on a point of public importance raised by Senator Dr Jehanzeb Jamaldini on 18th September, 2018, regarding non-reinstatement of four persons belonging to Balochistan in Survey of Pakistan, may be extended for a period of sixty working days with effect from 18th November, 2018.
Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan laid before the Senate the Federal Public Service Commission (Validation of Rules) Ordinance, 2018 (Ordinance No. XII of 2018), as required by clause (2) of Article 89 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
