Food Authority Starts Issuance Of Licenses To Eateries: DCO
MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Nov, 2016 ) : District Coordination Officer (DCO) Nadir Chathha on Monday said the Food Authority had started registration and issuing of licences to hotel and bakeries after inspection of cleanliness.
Presiding over a meeting at the Circuit House, here, he said the Food Authority had been given power to issue license in order to ensure provision of quality of foods to citizens, adding that under new act, the government would take stern action against adulteration mafia.
He directed for registration of different factories and bakeries, and said that nobody would be allowed to play havoc with lives of people. Modern kits would be given to inspector for inspection of food items, he added. On this occasion, DOC Zahid Ikraam and Deputy Director Operation Muhammad Ejaz were also present.
