Food Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Collects Fines Of Rs 2.555 Mln During Dec 2018

Food Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa collected Rs 2.555 million during December 2018 for violation of official price-list by 910 persons
According to monthly progress report of December 2018, the officials of the department checked a total of 4746 shops .
In Peshawar Division, the department checked 959 shops and imposed penalty to the tone of Rs 7,23,000 on 224 persons for the violation of law while 205 shops were checked in Mardan and fines of Rs 2,20,000 were imposed on the violators.
Similarly, fines to the tone of Rs 5,57,000 were collected from 1256 violators in Malakand Division.
The officials of the department checked 1269 shops in the division.
Furthermore, 895 shops were checked in Kohat and collected a fine of Rs 1,31,500 from 176 violators of the price-list.
The department also checked 1030 shops in Hazara Division and imposed a fine of Rs 758,500 from 256 violators while 328 shops were checked in D.I. Khan and a penalty ofRs 1,07,000 was imposed on 34 persons while 150 shops were checked in BannuDivision and fine of Rs 58,500 was collected from 21 violators.
