Foolproof Security Arrangements For Christmas In Faisalabad

Foolproof arrangements will be made for providing strict security cover to 336 churches across Faisalabad division on the occasion of Christmas on December 25.
According to RPO office sources here on Friday, there are 257 churches in district Faisalabad, 70 in Toba Tek Singh, seven in Jhang and two in Chiniot.
He said that over 4000 police personnel would be deployed on security duty at the churches. Walk through gates would be installed at all entry points and people will be allowed to enter in churches only after checking through metal detectors by police personnel.
He said that special branch staff, quick response force, elite force will also ensure patrolling near churches.
The sources said that Christian community has been requested to cooperate with the law enforcement agencies for maintaining peaceful environment.
