Four-day Minorities Sports Festival To Conclude On Thursday
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Augst,2016) : Ministry of Human Rights (MOHR) will hold concluding ceremony of four-day National Minorities Sports Festival (NMSF) on Thursday at sports Complex. The events is being organized in connection with National Minorities Day observed on the August 11 annually, said a news release.
The National Minorities Day got official recognition in 2009 by the efforts of former Minister of Minorities Affairs Shehbaz Bhatti who was killed on March 2, 2011. The activities of Minorities Sports Festival included football, cricket, basketball, body building, athletics, badminton and tug of war.
