FPCCI Officers To Contribute One-day Salary For Diamer-Bhasha, Mohmand Dams

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jul, 2018 ) :Appreciating the order of the four-member bench headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar for the construction of Diamer-Bhasha and Mohmand Dams, the officers of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry have decided to fulfill their national obligation by donating their one-day salary voluntarily to the announced fund for this cause of national importance.

This was decided in the joint meeting of the officers chaired by FPCCI Secretary General Dr. Iqbal Thaheem, said FPCCI statement here on Tuesday.

It said the dams are the need of hour and these should be constructedon war-footings. Water reservoirs are essential for the survival of the people and economy of the country.
