'Front Desks Made Operational; FIR And Daily Report To Be Made Online Soon'

FAISALABAD, Jan 4 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Jan, 2017 ) : City Police Officer (CPO) Afzaal Kausar on Wednesday said that front desks established at various police stations in the district have been made operational while the record of FIRs and daily reports would soon be made online.
Addressing a meeting of Station House Officers (SHOs), the CPO said that a number of projects had been initiated for improving the performance of police department in addition to facilitate the general public at maximum extent.
He said that sufficient staff had been deputed at front desks which not only facilitate and guide the complainants but also discouraging the corruption and necessary delay in registration of complaints.
The CPO directed the SHOs to ensure accuracy in registration of FIRs and completion of investigations of the cases so that strict action would be taken against those involved in negligence, lethargy, laziness and delinquency.
The CPO warned that he would positively pay surprise visits to front desks in addition to check online record of FIRs and daily reports and no negligence would be tolerated in this regard.
