Gandapur Vows Regaining Country's Lost Glory In Sports

Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Ali Amin Gandapur Thursday vowed for providing more playgrounds for youth to regain the lost glory in sports.
Addressing a prize distribution ceremony at Sports Gala of a private school here at Jinnah Stadium, he said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government would revive sports activities to regain the top position once the country enjoyed in sports.
He said promotion of sports was imperative for mental and physical growth of any nation.
PTI government had done a lot for the promotion of sports during their last tenure in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, he added.
He said there was immense potential of Polo, Jeep rallies and skiing in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and addedthat Gilgit-Baltistan and government were planning to provide international standard facilities so that internationalcompetitions could be held there.
