GB Wildlife Dept Imposes Ban On Illegal Hunting Of Migratory Birds

Gilgit Baltistan Wildlife Department has imposed ban on illegal hunting of wildlife and migratory birds and decided to take strong action against violators.
Divisional Forest Officer (DPO) Wildlife Muhammad Arif told media persons here Wednesday that ban on unlawful hunting of wildlife and migratory birds was imposed and strict action would be taken against all those elements involved in its illegal poaching, trapping and hunting practices.
He said the department was utilizing all available resources to save wildlife. "Wildlife is a precious asset of Gilgit Baltistan as all targets with help of local people were completed." The Department has asked local committees to keep an eye on hunters and report immediately to wildlife department in case of seeing illegal hunting practices.
