General Election Should Held On Time: Siraj-ul-Haq

Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) leader and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Chief Siraj-ul-Haq on Tuesday said general election should be held on time and the process of accountability should also be continued for bringing betterment in the system of the country.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jul, 2018 ) :Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) leader and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Chief Siraj-ul-Haq on Tuesday said general election should be held on time and the process of accountability should also be continued for bringing betterment in the system of the country.
Talking to a news channel, he said vote was the power of masses and it was the only way to bring change in the government.
He said the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and Caretaker government were responsible to hold elections in a free, fair and transparent manner.
The caretaker government should ensure secure and peaceful environment for the voters on election day, he added.
To a question, he said there was a need to strengthen political and democratic values in the country, he added.
Siraj ul Haq said islam was a complete code of life and JI was struggling to implement true spirit of Islam, adding his party policies, were for betterment of the people and welfare of the society.
We want to bring progress, prosperity, employment, equal education system and better facilities for the people of the country, he said.
