General Officer Commanding, Commissioner Attend High Level Meeting To Review Election Arrangements

A high level meeting held at circuit house here on Monday to review arrangements for holding general election-2018.

NAUSHEHRO FEROZE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jul, 2018 ) :A high level meeting held at circuit house here on Monday to review arrangements for holding general election-2018.

According to handout issued by the District Information office, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) Pano Aqil, Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad, Deputy Inspector General of Police, officers of Pakistan Rangers, Deputy Commissioner Naushehro Feroze, Senior Superintendent of Police, District Election Commissioner and other officials attended the meeting.

While briefing the meeting the Deputy Commissioner Anwar Ali Shar informed that arrangements on 90 percent polling stations had been completed for holding free, fair and impartial general election in the district.

The meeting was informed that installations of CCTV cameras would be started from July 17 while all Assistant Commissioners were directed to visit the polling stations to review arrangements. The meeting also reviewed security, transport and other arrangements.

The Senior Superintendent of Police Amjad Ahmed Shaikh informed the meeting that security plan had already been prepared. Police have taken all required steps to make elections free, fair and impartial at any cost, SSP added.
