He was of the concern that these heaps of garbage are a health hazard breeding ground for dengue mosquitoes.
Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 25th September, 2018) German Ambassador to Pakistan Martin Kobler has pointed towards the heaps of garbage in the Federal capital.
Sharing a selfie with a dumpsite in Islamabad on his Twitter account, Kobler said that while Islamabad has beautiful parts, there are some small dumpsites as well.
Pointing towards the dumpsite at F-7/4, the German envoy wondered that solid waste disposal does not work in many parts of the city.
Asking for suggestions, he raised the concern that these heaps of garbage are a health hazard breeding ground for dengue mosquitoes.
“Just driving through #Islamabad. There are beautiful parts, but there are also small dumpsites everywhere like here in F 7/4 street 56. It seems solid waste disposal does not work in many parts. Its also a health hazard and breeding ground for dengue moskitos! What can be done?” he wrote.
The German envoy keeps posting about his experiences in Pakistan, expressing admiration for the country while the people here love him too. This is, however, the first time that Kobler has expressed dislike for the country.
