Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Seeks 10 Years Recruitment's Record From HEC

Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Frman has directed Higher Education Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to get record of all recruitment in BS-17 and below from all provincial universities made during past ten year.
He issued these directives while chairing a senate meeting of the Women University Mardan at Governor House, Peshawar on Monday.
He said that we have to see that how recruitments have been made during past 10 years. The recruitments on the basis of political interference and against the merit has become menace for higher educational institution and the government is committed to removing anomalies permanently.
The Governor said that zero tolerance policy is being observed for higher education institution to get positive results and for the betterment of educational standards.
He further said that any illegal and against the merit recruitment would not be tolerated at any cost, adding "we are against unemployment but we have to establish a merit based system in all public sector universities." Later the senate gave approval of the current fiscal budget for the University.
The senate meeting was attended by the Principle Secretary toGovernor Nizam-ud-Din, Secretary Higher Education Department Manzoor Ahmad, ViceChancellor women university Mardan and others.
