LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Apr, 2019 ) :Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar Tuesday condoled with the family members of victims of a collapsed building incident in Bhati Gate here.

He also announced compensation of Rs 0.5 million to the victims of incident from Sarwar Foundation.

The Punjab Governor said that life of a poor was as valuable as life of an elite, adding that rights of poor would be protected in New Pakistan.

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government would put the country on way to progress and prosperity, he added.

Chaudhry Sarwar said that rulers in the past had plundered national resources and did nothing for the welfare of people of country.

Prime Minister Imran Khan was working day and night with an aim to steer the country out of crises and a constructive road map was also being implemented, he maintained.

Meanwhile, Provincial ministers Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed, Syed Samsam Ali Bukhari and Hafiz Mumtaz also met with Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar at Governor House and discussed matters of mutual interests.
