Governor Punjab To Visit All Bar Associations In Punjab

Governor Punjab Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana Saturday said that supremacy of law could guarantee success in all fields of life.

KHANEWAL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Apr, 2018 ) :Governor Punjab Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana Saturday said that supremacy of law could guarantee success in all fields of life. He stated this while addressing the oath-taking ceremony of newly-elected members of District Bar Association here, which was also attended by District and Sessions Judge Javed-ul-Hasan Chishti, MNA Muhammad Khan Daha, Chairman District Council Muhammad Raza Sargana, DPO Rizwan Umer Gondal, ADCR Manzoor Khan, ADCG Zaheer Abbas, former provincial minister Irfan Ahmed Daha and others.

The governor said that he had decided to visit all bar associations of Punjab to strengthen the relationship between government and bars, which would help ensure speedy justice to litigants.

He said speedy justice could be ensured by strengthening the relation between Bar and Bench.

He said lawyers were an important part of society and people have confidence in them for resolving their issues. Rajwana said that the government was taking steps for the welfare of the lawyers, adding the government would grant funds to the bar councils and bar associations under uniform grant.

Meanwhile, the governor promised provision of bus service for students of Bahauddin Zakriya University Multan. He said that a campus of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture would also be opened in Khanewal.
