Governor Sindh Opens Naya Pakistan Housing Authority Registration Center In Sukkur

Governor Sindh Imran Ismail on Monday inaugurated Naya Pakistan Housing Authority Registration Center at Deputy Commissioner (DC) office.
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Oct, 2018 ) :Governor Sindh Imran Ismail on Monday inaugurated Naya Pakistan Housing Authority Registration Center at Deputy Commissioner (DC) office.
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said that the provision of five million houses equipped with all basic facilities, and regularization of slums is the foremost priority of the PTI government.
He said target of the present government is to ensure the provision of affordable houses for underprivileged classes during the next five years.
He expressed the confidence that the programme would not only help realize the dream of a shelter for the poor but also create employment opportunities.
He said that the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has been given the task of collecting data to identify those in need.
Later, answering to media question, the Governor Sindh said in this 5 million houses programme, the government has decided to construct 40 percent houses in rural areas, 40 percent in urban and 20 percent in slums areas.
He said that present government is committed to facilitate the masses and formulate various policies to provide jobs to youth.
To a question, Imran Ismail said due to failed policies of former governments, the national economy is facing various challenges and now the government is taking serious steps for the revival of industries to enhance the export for the development and prosperity of the country.
On the occasion, Commissioner Sukkur Rafiq Ahmed Buriro, Director General NADRA Sukkur region Naveed Jan Sahibzada were also present.
