Govt Committed For Grass Root Level Accountability: Babar Awan

Dr Babar Awan Senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Tuesday said the present government was committed for grass root level accountability and did not have any believe on any National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) nor any deal with political figures on accountability.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Sep, 2018 ) :Dr Babar Awan Senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Tuesday said the present government was committed for grass root level accountability and did not have any believe on any National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) nor any deal with political figures on accountability.
Talking to a private tv Channel, he said that in this regard recently Pakistan and United Kingdom have announced to a justice and accountability 'initiative' between both countries aimed at repatriating "the looted wealth of the country".
Babar Awan said the purpose of this declaration is to bring back the looted wealth of the country, and the agreement on exchange of convicted personnel will also be renewed.
To a question, he said that unfortunately so far many parliamentarian sitting with many allegations and government thinking about the lower court decision over model town case.
He expressed, "My resignation as Adviser to Prime Minister on Parliamentary Affairs was to prove baseless allegations of NAB wrong" and it was the vision of Prime Minster Imran Khan not to include the guilty people in cabinet.
Babar said the government had introduced middle class politicians on key post across the country like Chief Minister of Punjab belongs to a middle class and hopefully he will deliver the best for public.
Replying to a question over the current statements of Indian Army Chief against Pakistan, he said that Pakistani people are united and the country had modern nuclear technology as compare to India.
