Govt Committed To Ensure Youth Empowerment In Country: Usman Dar

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Apr, 2019 ) ::Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar on Monday said the government was committed to ensure youth empowerment in the country and making all out efforts in this regard.

He stated this while addressing the launching ceremony of web portal "Sialkot Job Bureau", held at sports Complex here.

He said the PTI government would provide maximum opportunities to the youth to polish their talent, skills and capabilities, which would help take them forward for contributing their pivotal role in national development and prosperity.

Usman Dar said the government would soon launch a programme "Kaamyab Noujwan" to empower the youth by providing them relevant jobs purely on merit.

He said the purpose of this portal "Sialkot Job Bureau" was to provide necessary guidance and assistance to the skilled youth in finding out suitable jobs for them, besides, ensuring the easy access of the students to the right websites offering job vacancies through this portal.

Usman Dar said this portal would also help in career counseling of the skilled youth and students, besides, promoting their abilities in skill development, youth empowerment and ensuring 'right man for the right job'.

The PM's Special Assistant said women participation in all sectors was necessary for the success of a country, saying that no nation could progress without the participation of women.

He said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government was in the favour of strong and independent National Accountability Bureau (NAB) that would ensure accountability across the board against corrupt persons. He said that corruption-free Pakistan was the aim of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Addressing the participants, Sialkot Deputy Commissioner Dr. Syed Bilal Haider said that data of 0.4 million different jobs had been uploaded on this portal.

The DC added that Sialkot was the second district out of all 134 districts in Pakistan, where this portal had been launched successfully.

Khawaja Masood Akhtar, President Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed, Vice Chancellor Govt. College Women University Sialkot, Prof. Javaid Akhtar Billah, Principal Govt. Murray College Sialkot, local PTI leaders, students of different colleges and representatives of civil society were also present on this occasion.
