Govt Committed To Providing Level-playing Field To Citizens In All Professions: Zulfi Bukhari

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Syed Zulfikar Bukhari reiterated his government's resolve to provide level-playing field to every Pakistani in all professions regardless of political affiliation.
Addressing a conference titled "Emerging Pakistan", organized by RCCI at Jinnah Convention Center, the SAPM when a Pakistani got equal opportunities abroad, he always delivered and became more successful due to strong institutions there."If Pakistanis get equal opportunities, they will prove their metal in diverse fields," he added.
Lambasting the previous regimes, he said unfortunately, they had weakened the state institutions by promoting corruption, nepotism and cronyism. "Level playing field is essential to excel the youth in their careers," he remarked.
The corruption was directly affecting downtrodden segments of the society especially those who wanted to deliver through their professionalism.
The present government was striving hard to rectify the mistakes committed by previous governments Bukhari said and added that 'institutionalized corruption' needed to be dealt with iron hand.
The focus of the Prime Minister Imran Khan was to uplift the living standard of the poorest of poor but in future "we would focus on business community and take more initiatives in industrial sector."He said more foreign investments were expected in future informing the audience that more than10 notable personalities from the USA is expected to visit Pakistan next month.
