Govt Focusing On Human Development: Shah Mehmood Qureshi

Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Saturday said the incumbent government was focusing on human development.
Those who were holding the PTI government accountable for its initial 75-day, they should present themselves accountable for their 40 years rule, he said this while talking to different delegations at his residence 'Babul Quraish'.
According to a press release issued by Babul Quraish, the minister said the government was facing issues created by wrong policies of the previous governments.
The raise in prices of electricity and gas was not due to the PTI government but it was due to extra expenditures and unchecked spending of the previous governments, he said and added that the PPP and PML-N had ruled the country for many decades but failed to solve the real issues of the people.
Qureshi said the PML-N and PPP were making hue and cry because of the accountability process.
The foreign minister said that he had to travel abroad and present the country's viewpoint besides improving relationships and friendly ties with other countries. "However, I would maintain links with people for the redressal of their problems and development of the constituency,"he added.
Earlier, the local people had presented applications to redress their issues and the minister issued instructions on the spot for resolving their problems.
On this occasion, MPA Nadeem Qureshi, Zahoor Bhutta, Babir Shah, Shiekh Tahir, Fiaz Ahmed, Haq Nawaz and others were also present.
