ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Augst,2016) : Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali, Wednesday said government is doing effective legislation to ensure across the board accountability. Talking to newsmen outside the Parliament House, he said no one is above the law and constitution, adding the chapter of corruption should be closed once and forever in the country. Abid Sher Ali said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has been facing accountability in past too and always appeared neat and clean. The minister said it is for the first time in history of the country that a sitting prime minister presented himself for accountability and credit goes to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) for it.
He said in past PM Nawaz faced many allegations when a dictator made a false case of aeroplane hijacking against him and then forcefully exiled him along with his whole family, adding no one could prove corruption against him and PML-N. Commenting on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)'s forthcoming Lahore rally he said PTI will get similar result as that of the past.
