Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Iftikhar Chaudhry Thursday said the government was waiting for suitable time to disclose the names of those who tried to seek National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO).
Talking to a private news channel, he said around seven political figures from opposition benches were seeking special favour in the shape of NRO but another side of opposition claiming that they did not ask for such type of favor from the government.
He said the government was interested to resolve the longstanding issue of the chairmanship of PAC through the political way but unfortunately opposition was hanging this issue without any valid reason.
He said the country was facing already many issues that should be resolved on priority but opposition parities were not standing with the government for national issues redressal.
He said National Accountability Bureau was an independent institution and looking all the cases neutrally while opposition was busy in propagating false notions against national institution.
