'Govt To Finalise Hajj Policy 2019 After Consultation'

The federal government will finalise Hajj Policy 2019 after consultation with all stakeholders and consultative workshops are being organised at several cities in this regard.
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Oct, 2018 ) :The Federal government will finalise Hajj Policy 2019 after consultation with all stakeholders and consultative workshops are being organised at several cities in this regard.
This was informed by Additional Secretary Religious Affairs Zeenat Hussain Bangash while addressing a one-day consultative workshop organised at Hajji Camp, here on Thursday.
He assured the participants that their suggestions and complaints would be considered in policy making and an improved Hajj policy would be introduced to provide better facilities to the Hajj pilgrims.
Workshop was divided into five categories for proper feedback regarding issues of application submission, training, arrangements at Hajji camps and airports, arrangements at Saudi airports, residence arrangements,transport for Haram Sharif, arrangements at Mina, Arafaat and Muzdalifa, residences in Makkah Mukarrama, Madina Munawara, transport and food arrangements in the two sacred cities, Hajj arrangements for pilgrims of Fiqah Jaferia, issues of Hajj master trainers, and Hajj arrangements of Private Hajj scheme.
Earlier, Director Hajj Saeed Ahmad Malik gave briefing about Hajj policy.
The participants gave their suggestions for the improvement of Hajj arrangements.
Pilgrims of Government Hajj Scheme and Private Hajj Scheme, Ulema and representatives of the ministry attended the workshop.
