Govt Trying Its Best For Betterment Of Economy : Nadeem Afzal Chan

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jan, 2019 ) :Spokesman to Prime Minister Nadeem Afzal Chan Thursday said that PTI government is taking important measure for the revival of economy which it gained in very bad condition from the previous rulers and also trying its best to put it on right track.
Talking to a private news channel, he said the government has set directions and playing its role in ensuring friendly environment for business community and in this regard, many steps were taken.
He alleged that PML-N in the past, ruined the all the national institutions including PIA, Steel Mills and badly damaged the economy of the country.
To a question, the Prime Minister's spokesman said baseless rumors are created about the economy by the Opposition dispite of the fact that many foreign companies are coming to invest in the country which in the past went back to their countries. The issues which are currently faced by the country are results of wrong policies of the previous rulers while PTI government is not responsible for these bad financial matters, he added. Five or six months are not enough to put the country's sick economy on right track, he observed Nadeem Afzal Chan said PML-N ruined the PIA, Steel Mills and other national institutions and inflicted loss of billions of rupees to the national exchequer. He said that the government was well aware of the people's issues and is playing its role in addressing it seriously.
He said Prime Minister Imran Khan is very sincere with the country and taking many welfare steps for the betterment of poor people and in this regard, several steps have been taken for the uplift and development of the poor masses of the country.
To a question about Asif Zardari's prediction that PTI government will not complete its tenure, Nadeem Afzal Chan said "meaning of ending the government would be the meaning of ending the expectations of the poor people of the country".
PTI government during the last six months, performed very well if compared with previous governments as not a single scandal surfaced against any member of the present government . Bad financial condition of the country cannot be changed within six months and the government trying its best to boost it.
The Prime Minister's spokesman said the base of better governance and directions to take the country on the path of progress has been laid in the country and now things are changing gradually.
To another question about accountability against the Opposition parties, Chan said VIP trail against PML-N is continued as its leadership stayed in Minister's Enclave during the trail. Present and previous chairmen of NAB were appointed by the then PML-N government and now they have a number of reservations against the NAB activities..
While expressing astonish, he said national institutions like PIA and Steel Mills have been ruined during the PML-N tenure while private company Air Blue shown positive signs of profits.
To a question about giving the facilities to farmers, Nadeem Afzal Chan said previous rulers during the last 35 years, did nothing in making the market mechanism for the products of farmers and not taken a single step to form such organization which could make better policies for the uplift and development of poor farmers.
In past, complete information about any eventuality have not been conveyed to Prime Minister and now I will try my best to report any matter to PM in an accurate manner with complete responsibility, he concluded.
