ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Dec, 2017 ) :Parliamentary Secretary for Finance Rana Muhammad Afzal on Tuesday said the government wanted merger of Federal Administrated Tribal Areas (FATA) in consultation with all political parties.
Talking to a private news channel, he said Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) has almost completed the work in this regard and it would soon produce positive results as consultation with all other political parties was underway.
He said all work had done by the government for merging of FATA in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa but some other political parties are trying to take the credit for it.
Replying to a question, he said record development projects had completed during the ongoing tenure of the government and many mega projects were underway which were launched by PML-N leadership.
The PML-N would win the next general election on the basis of its five years performance and provided good governance, he added. Rana Afzal said opposition was busy in criticizing the government but international institutions were acknowledging its policies.
