Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Affairs, Naeemul Haq Wednesday said the economic policies and relief schemes of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government would stable the country's economy, alleviate inflation and diminish ratio of poverty
The construction work on five million houses for deserving people on subsidies rates would be commenced on next week while the health cards had already been provided to common man to get best medical treatment free of cost, he said talking to a private news channel.
The special assistant said the Pakistan People's Party and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz were responsible for deteriorating economy and institutions besides they ruthlessly looted the national wealth during their regimes. The gigantic measures had been taken by the incumbent government to improve economy and revamped the institutions to yield desirous results, he added.
He said, "We are not scared from the opposition's protest demonstration against the government but it was only focusing on to bring development and prosperity in the country.
" The Cabinet Meetings were holding regularly to discuss and evolve strategies on national issues.
Naeemul Haq said the holding peaceful protest in a democratic system was right of everyone but the action would be taken against those who violate rule of law and constitution. Section 144 could be imposed in any part of the country on awful or worst law and order situation, he said.
He said the main objective of the opposition's staging protest demonstration was to save their corrupt leaders from accountability and punishment that was why they gathered at Iftar dinner hosted by PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to use such tactics as a shield to save their looted wealth. The PTI government was determined to hold accountability against corrupt elements to wipe out the menace of the corruption and money laundering from the country, he said.
