LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Dec, 2016 ) : Punjab Governor Malik Rafique Ahmed Rajwana said on Thursday that grand alliance by opposition parties was not a problem if it was based on political grounds.
However, he added that every grand alliance had some motives and hidden hands behind it. He stated this while talking to the media after attending the 8th Convocation of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS).
Responding to a question about the recent interview of Gen (R) Pervez Musharraf, he said, "Musharraf used to say one thing or another but it should not be taken seriously". About the improving standard of education, he said the government was striving hard to uplift the quality of education but it's a seventy years old problem.
When questioned about the appointment issue of Vice Chancellor in the Punjab University, he avoided to comment on it and said that the matter was sub-judice.
