Green Revolution To Be Brought In Country Through Tree Plantation: CM Special Advisor

Special Advisor to CM Punjab for Sports & Youth Affairs Malik Umar Farooq has said that green revolution will be brought by planting 10 billion trees in the country during next five years under "Plant for Pakistan" campaign.
FAISALABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Sep, 2018 ) :Special Advisor to CM Punjab for Sports & Youth Affairs Malik Umar Farooq has said that green revolution will be brought by planting 10 billion trees in the country during next five years under "Plant for Pakistan" campaign.
He expressed these views while planting a tree in sports stadium Fidous Colony on Jhang Road, here on Tuesday.
He said that trees are big source of elimination of environmental pollution and urged the people to take part in 'Plant for Pakistan' campaign and plant maximum trees.
He also reviewed the facilities in sports stadium and said that government is launching programme to provide sports facilities to the youth.
He said that tree plantation would be made under solid planning and sports grounds, gymnasium and sports complexes would be converted into lush green.
