Hafeez Sheikh Is Expected To Meet PM Khan On Saturday

Newly appointed advisor to PM on finance has reached Pakistan from Dubai
LAHORE- (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News- 19th April 2019) Newly appointed advisor to the Prime Minister on Finance is expected to meet Prime Minister Imran Khan.
According to media reports, Hafeez Sheikh reached Pakistan from Dubai and he is ready to hold the charge of the new ministry.
He also issued his first statement after being picked for the important portfolio.
“Economic decisions need to be well thought out and free from emotions,” he was quoted as saying by a local tv.
A meeting between PM Khan and Hafeez Shaikh is expected to take place on Saturday. The PM is said to be informed the newly appointed PM about his priorities.
Reports say that Mr Sheikh wanted to act as an independent minister as for him economic decisions should be above of party politics.
Hafeez Sheikh has been picked as an advisor on finance after the removal of Asad Umar as finance minister.
