
Hajj 2016; 22 Complaints Registered Against HGOs, Government Scheme

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Augst,2016) :The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has so far registered 22 complaints against Hajj Group Organisers (HGOs) and Government Hajj Scheme during Hajj 2016. According to official sources, monitoring teams of the ministry had promptly resolved the complaints on spot.
The sources confided APP that the Hajj Monitoring Cell has so far monitored 196 Hajj Group Organisers (HGOs) during Hajj-2016. The Ministry has asked Hujjaj to lodge complaints about non provision of agreed facilities in Saudi Arabia during Hajj-2016.
The ministry plans strict action against HGO on violating the agreed facilities to Private Scheme Hujjaj. He reminded that prior to Hajj-2016, the ministry had directed each HGO to deposit performance guarantee, so that the amount could be paid to private Hujjaj in case of any violation of bilateral agreement. He said the guarantee amount would be returned to the HGO, if no complaint is received against it.
