Hamid Saeed Kazmi Declares To Contest Election From NA-175 Independently

MULTAN, June 8 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Jun, 2018 ) ::Former Federal minister and PPP leader Hamid Saeed Kazmi has announced to contest general election independently from NA-175 after Party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari failed to convince him to contest from NA-176.
Pakistan People's Party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari visited Kazmi residence to convince him that latter should not contest election from NA-175 Liaqtpur, here on Friday.
Kazmi refused to contest from party's proposed constituency NA-176.
Later talking to media, former federal minister said that he has reservations over PPP leadership ticket awarding for election. He said that PPP South Punjab president Makhdoom Ahmad Mehmood wanted Khawaja Ghulam Rasool to contest from NA-175 which was his old constituency.
He stated that he has decided to go in election from NA-175 independently.
