LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Oct, 2018 ) :Minister for Information and Culture Punjab Fayyazul Hassan Chohan on Tuesday accused opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly of using PML-N lawmakers for his own interests.
Infact, he said, Hamza Shahbaz wanted to cover up his father's corruption during his tenure as chief minister Punjab.
Speaking to media-persons outside the Punjab assembly, he said, everybody knew that PML-N leaders looted national exchequer ruthlessly but the incumbent government would recover every single penny from them. He slammed Hamza Shahbaz for not performing as opposition leader.
He said, though the government was confronting with toughest scenario but would overcome all the issues as Prime Minister Imran Khan was striving hard to re-put Pakistan on right track.
Commenting on Asif Ali Zardari meeting with Maulana Fazlur Rehman and suggestion to table resolution, the information minister said, the PPP leader had sensed his future that was why he was talking like this. "Whenever accountability takes its course, looters gather and make hue and cry that democracy is endangered," he added.
Chohan termed PML-N's protest uncalled and unnecessary and said opposition legislators should turn and discuss its issues within the House.
