Handing Over Possession Of Overseas Pakistanis Foundation Valley Housing Scheme Is Huge Success Of Overseas Pakistanis Foundation : Abdul Rehman Kanju

Minister of State for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Abdul Rehman Kanju on Friday said that handing over possession of OPF Valley Housing Scheme Zone-V, Sector A, B and E is a huge success of Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) and a dream come true for the allotees of this housing scheme.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Mar, 2018 ) :Minister of State for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Abdul Rehman Kanju on Friday said that handing over possession of OPF Valley Housing Scheme Zone-V, Sector A, B and E is a huge success of Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) and a dream come true for the allotees of this housing scheme.
This was stated by the minister while addressing a ceremony. Over 200 people from all walks of life including the media, allotees, and officers of OPF, leading property consultants, business community, investors and other notable dignitaries were present on the occasion, a press release said.
He said that the present Government attached great importance to the welfare of Overseas Pakistanis and was working to resolve their issues. The Overseas Pakistanis who received their possession letters were very happy about this development and lauded the role of present management and the board of Governors who had worked day and night to make that possible.
Due to this landmark achievement the construction at OPF Valley Housing scheme can be initiated and the Pakistani Diaspora coming from abroad can build their houses in a serene and peaceful environment.
Federal Secretary Ministry of OP & HRD appreciated the efforts of OPF in ensuring timely completion of this landmark housing scheme.
He opined that it is a matter of great contentment that Overseas Pakistanis and their families are being catered for in the form of such attractive initiatives.
Barrister Amjad Malik, Chairman Board of Governors OPF extended his apologies to the overseas Pakistanis for any inconvenience caused by the delay in allotment procedure but expressed his commitment of delivering to the expectations in the coming future.
Addressing the ceremony, Jehangir Minhas, Member Board of Governors OPF highlighted the new initiatives taken by OPF in the housing sector. He said that OPF delivers what it commits and this landmark achievement speaks volumes about it.
MD OPF Habib-ur-Rehman Gillani highlighted that till date 16 housing projects have been completed and further 10 more are on their course to completion. He said that the development works of all basic necessities such as sewerage, drainage system, water tanks, roads etc.
have been completed and this Housing Society is now ready to be colonized. The ceremony ended with a vote of thanks from MD OPF and a commitment to work jointly in addressing the challenges faced by Overseas Pakistanis locally and abroad.
