Haripur District Nazim Removed From Office After Vote Of No-confidence

The PTI members of Haripur District Council on Monday voted out District Nazim Adil Islam through a no confidence motion here

HARIPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Jan, 2019 ) :The PTI members of Haripur District Council on Monday voted out District Nazim Adil islam through a no confidence motion here.

PTI district council members presented the vote of no confidence a month ago while the opposition parties in the district council including PML-N, ANP, and JI supported the no confidence motion and made it successful with a huge difference.

The balloting for the vote on "no confidence motion" was held under open division wherein 56 members of the Hariput District Council out of a total 59 present in the session supported the vote of no confidence motion while one member opposed and two members of the house remained silent.

Opposition and treasury benches of district council joined hands against district Nazim Adil Islam and made the vote of no confidence successful.

The outvoted Haripur District Nazim Adil Islam immediately after passage of the no confidence motion filed a petition in PHC Abbottabad bench where the court gave January 15th date for the hearing.
