HCCI Expresses Concern Over Unannounced Load Shedding In Hyderabad

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th May, 2017 ) : The Senior Vice President Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) Turab Ali Khoja has expressed his grave concern over the unannounced load shedding in Hyderabad by HESCO and said that such practice had badly affected the business and civic activities in the city.

In a statement on Wednesday, he said that due to unannounced load shedding WASA operation remained suspended and causing an acute shortage of water to the citizens while the business community was also suffering huge losses as a result of suspension of their activities without light in the current scorching heat spell.

He demanded the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority to ensure hundred percent supply of electricity to HESCO so that the distribution company could be able to overcome 40 percent electric shortfall and assured uninterrupted power supply to consumers.
