HCSTSI president calls upon business community to forge unity for resolution of issues

The newly elected President of Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industry (HCSTSI) Muhammad Farooq Shekhani has called upon the traders and industrialists to forge unity among their ranks so that all issues which are pending due to bureaucratic hurdles could be resolved through joint efforts.

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Sep, 2018 ) :The newly elected President of Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industry (HCSTSI) Muhammad Farooq Shekhani has called upon the traders and industrialists to forge unity among their ranks so that all issues which are pending due to bureaucratic hurdles could be resolved through joint efforts.

Addressing the members of the general body here at HCSTSI Secretariat on Tuesday, he said the bureaucracy was taking advantage of the conflicts between the business community resulting delay in resolving the issues of the traders and industrialists of Hyderabad.

The government must acknowledge the importance of the small traders and industrialists who are playing key role in strengthening the economy of the country, he said and expressed his regrets that the economic policies were being formulated without taking the small traders and industrialists into confidence.

He called upon the Federal and Sindh Provincial Governments to award projects to Hyderabad in C-PEC and also ensures allotments of plots to industrialists in Hyderabad SITE Extension. He also demanded the allotment of a sizeable plot for Hyderabad Chamber.

The HCSTSI general body endorsed the result of the election of new office bearers and the executive committee. After approving the audit reports for the period from January 15 to June 30, 2016 and the financial year 2016-2017, the general body also granted approval of appointment of Arif and Co Chartered Accountant for audit of HCSTSI for the year 2018-2019.
