Heavybikes allowed on Motorways

Bikes with 600CC and above capacity were allowed to travel. Special cards will be issued to the riders.

LAHORE- (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News- 16^th March, 2019) The government has allowed heavy bikers to travel through motorways.

The National Highways and Motorways Authority issued a notification in this regard on Saturday.

According to the notification, the bikes only with 600CC power and above will be allowed on the motorways as per the direction of Islamabad High Court.

The authority, it said, will issue special cards to the bikers to travel on the road.

The permission was given until the decision of the Supreme Court on the matter. The authority has already challenged the IHC order for allowing bikers to travel on motorways.
