HED Bans Use, Sale Of Snuff, Cigarettes At Educational Institutions

Higher Education Department has directed administrations of all public and private educational institutions to launch awareness campaign against using drugs and its negative effects on health of students.

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Nov, 2018 ) :Higher education Department has directed administrations of all public and private educational institutions to launch awareness campaign against using drugs and its negative effects on health of students.

Through official notification it directed all staff and faculty members not to use snuff and cigarette smoking during universities/colleges timings.

The notification also directs concerned authorities to regularly test and examine quality of food and beverages being sold at canteens and cafeterias of educational institutions.
