
HED To Take Over Charge Of FEF Colleges: Mushtaq Ghanni

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23th August, 2016) : Advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Higher education and Information Mushtaq Ahmad Ghanni on Tuesday said the provincial government is not going to permanently close FEF Colleges in the province rather the provincial Higher Education Department (HED) will take over the charge of these colleges after creation of new posts of lecturers. He expressed these views during his surprise visit to FEF girls' college, Chakdara on Tuesday, where he directed college administration to continue admissions as per routine. Meanwhile, he also paid surprise visit to Government Management Sciences College, Government College for boys and Girls, Thana district Malakand and inspected the cleanness, college administrative affairs and students attendance in the classrooms.
He also directed college administration and students to make sure their 75 percent attendance otherwise their Names would not be sent for annual examination. Mushtaq Ghanni took notice in delay of reconstruction work of Government College for Buys Thana which was badly damaged in earthquake and directed the administration to take up case with C&W department. Talking to students on the occasion, he said the provincial government is taking pragmatic steps to upgrade the government colleges to model colleges assuring full support in this regard. He also heard the problems and demands of students and directed college administration to send all demands in written for further necessary action.
