Heptitis screening continues at Daska hospital

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th May, 2017 ) : Senior doctors checked a large number of people on the second day of a week-long free hepatitis screening camp set up at Daska Civil Hospital on Wednesday.

The Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr.

Abdul Ghafur Ghuman told media here that anti-hepatitis vaccine by the Health Department was also being given to the visiting people at this camp. Earlier, Deputy Commissioner Dr.

Asif Tufail, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Dr. Umer Sher Chatta and Sialkot District Health Authority's CEO Dr. Javaid Warraich visited the camp to review process of hepatitis screening. On this occasion, the DC Dr. Asif Tufail said that free anti-hepatitis medicines would be provided to the patients at their homes through courier service.
