
HESCO Continues Operation Against Defaulters

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th August, 2016) : The operation of Hyderabad Electric Supply company against defaulters and power theft remained in progress as special teams of HESCO disconnected two hundred power connections of the defaulters and also removed four hundred illegal connections in different parts of its region on Thursday.
According to spokesman, the special teams conducted its operations in Tando Adam, Tando Allahyar, Matli, Badin and Mirpurkhas areas and disconnected 200 connections as the customers failed to clear their outstanding dues.
The teams also detected 400 illegal connections and removed live wires on the spot and submitted letters to concerned police stations for registration of cases against power thieves, the spokesman informed and added that the teams also recovered Rs. 1.65 million from defaulters.
