HESCO Linemen Completes Two Day BBS Safety Training

HYDERABAD, Jan 3 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Jan, 2017 ) : A total of 45 linemen of Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) have completed two day long Behavioural Based Safety (BBS) training under Institute of Linemen education and Safety here at a local hotel on Tuesday.
The Chief Executive Officer HESCO Asadullah, who was the chief guest at certificate distribution ceremony, has said that safety training was vital for linemen to complete their tasks in safe and secure manner.
The linemen are the real asset of the organization and there is the need to adopt all precautionary measures and apply hundred percent safety rules before completing the assigned targets, he said and added that negligence in work can be harmful for the lives of those employees who spent 10 to 15 years to become the linemen in the organization.
The master trainer of the Institute of Linemen Education and Safety Tufail Ahmed Shaikh while addressing the ceremony informed that HESCO is the second power distribution company after LESCO where training programme for linemen has been initiated.
A total of 350 linemen of LESCO have completed BBS training successfully, he informed. Among others, Director General Admn & HR HESCO Syed Imran Ali Askari, Chief Operating Officer Reham Ali Otho and Iqbal Khan from CBA also addressed the participants of the ceremony.
