Hindu pilgrims, who had been in Pakistan for quite some time to attend Katas Raj temple ceremony, returned to their homeland India through Wagha border, on Thursday
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Dec, 2017 ) :Hindu pilgrims, who had been in Pakistan for quite some time to attend Katas Raj temple ceremony, returned to their homeland India through Wagha border, on Thursday.
Evacuee Trust Property board (ETPB) Chairman Muhammad Siddiqul Farooq presented special gifts to the yatrees and saw them off at Gurdwara Dera Sahib.
He gave sacred water (Amer Kund) to party leader Shiv Partab Bajaj as a gift for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and some gifts for Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj and Chief Minister Bahar.
Speaking on the occasion, leader of the Hindu pilgrims, Shiv Partab Bajaj said that the yatrees were thankful to the Pakistani government and the Evacuee Trust Property Board for providing them with the best security and other facilities including transport and accommodation. The yatrees raised slogans like Pakistan Zindabad and Pak-Bharat Dosti Zindabad.
